The concept of exotic flavours was originally introduced by DC Duby Chocolatiers in 2000. At the time, using exotic ingredients such as truffles or squash in chocolate confections was practically unheard of. For this daring project, the packaging needed to meet the needs of a sophisticated audience yet had to reflect the wild theme of the ingredients. Today, exotic flavours have become a more common ingredient in sweets and the Dubys are considered the leaders in that field.
